The Wizard's Chamber Escape Room Sydney, manly Beach

Sydney's Wizards Chamber escape room will shortly be playing at our Escape This Sydney, Manly Beach venue at 2B The Corso, just across the road from the Manly Ferry Terminal!

The Wizards Chamber has a difficulty rating of 7 out of 10. A nice entry point for first time players and switched on kids. The Wizard's Chamber is not too hard, not too easy. Numbers, patterns, places for things to go... everything you need is usually right in front of you, you just need to put it all together. Read more about our difficulty levels here.

Absolutely! The Wizards Chamber Sydney is very popular with childrens groups who love the immersive feel within the room. Whilst it is one our most popular rooms for children, adults love it too. So it's a great choice for a family outing.

A few rules though:

1. The minimum player age is 9 years old. 
2. If the group contains any children under the age of 14 then an adult must remain onsite for the duration of the booking (but does not need to accompany the group into the room).
3. If the whole group is 14 and older no adult needs to remain on site.
4. If you have a child too young to participate we can sometimes arrange for them to accompany the group as a spectator into the room.

When The Wizard's Chamber opens at our Manly venue, the simplest way to book will be to check availability and book online here. Our website shows live availability and all bookings are confirmed immediately. It's the quickest and best way to secure your desired time slot.

At Escape This, all bookings are exclusive to your group. This has always been (and will remain to be) our policy before, during and after Covid.

If you want to be locked in a room with a group of people you have never met before (some people do!) then we recommend you try another escape room experience provider.

You certainly can! If you have ever considered dressing up for your escape room experience we encourage you to do so. The Wizards Chamber is set in a world of wizardry and magic. Cloaks, capes, wizard hats, round glasses and lightning scars will all help you feel the part.

You'll have one hour from entering The Wizards Chamber to escape! We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if you allow for 15 minutes afterwards, to catch your breath and debrief, your whole experience will last up to 90 minutes. You may be one of the lucky ones to escape earlier, in which case your time with us may be shorter.

The maximum group size that The Wizards Chamber escape room at our Manly venue can accomodate is 6 people.

Our group limits are set to optimise gameplay and ensure a truly immersive experience for all our guests. Fortunately for you, it is company policy to never compromise on your gameplay experience so these limits are NOT flexible! 

If your group is larger than 6 players we suggest that you book multiple rooms to start at the same time and split your group across the rooms. Thus ensuring the very best experience for everyone in your group.

Spoken cues and clues are a key element of our escape rooms. Presently, these cues are only available in English, though we are working towards multi-language options. To ensure the best escape experience in the meantime, we recommend that the majority of your player group should be fluent in English.

Absolutely, The Wizards Chamber is a great choice for first time escapers. You will be challenged but our gamesmasters are on hand to offer any extra clues if you need them.

Like all escape rooms, The Wizard's Chamber is a controlled lighting environment. It may feature periods of complete darkness and/or flashing lights. Similarly, you might experience confined spaces and/or jump scares during your escape. If you have any concerns or questions, please raise these with our Gamesmasters at check-in.
