At Escape This the minimum age for most of the rooms is 9 years old with some of the horror themed rooms having a minimum age of 16 or 18 years old.

Can we come to an escape room in fancy dress?

Absolutely, it is by no means necessary but costumes that suit your chosen theme definitely add to the experience.Regardless, fancy dress or normal attire when dressing for an escape room it is best to choose clothes that are comfortable and allow freedom of movement. Footwear should be closed shoes.

Will our Escape Room booking be exclusive to our family group?

Yes. It is Escape This policy (before, during and after Covid) that we never mix escape room groups. We know that some operators mix groups together to fill their rooms. Escape This Sydney guarantees exclusivity for your group.

How long will a family escape room booking last?

You will have one hour to escape your room at Escape This. We ask groups to arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted start time. With a further 15 minutes afterwards for a debrief you should allow 90 minutes for your escape room experience.

The age we give on each game is advisory. We calculate how difficult or scary a room is and then advise on a minimum age. So, if your brother is being accompanied by older participants, and you are happy for him to take part, then that’s fine.
