The theming of this escape room can be anything the operator chooses, from a desolate-looking area behind enemy lines in a country where a despot rules, within a sophisticated office block where plans are afoot to overthrow the government or a laboratory where villains are developing a virus that will wipe out the population of the world. The potential themes and plots behind the escape room’s story are manifold. Sound effects complement the storyline and can be helicopter noises, gunfire, shouting, running, or anything that indicates a fight or a flight is taking place when the spies (players) are engaging with the designated enemy. Equally, lighting can be used to create the right atmosphere, from searchlights to the glow of distance shell fire intermittently lighting up the room.
