Sydney CBD's Bank Heist escape room will shortly be playing at our Escape This Sydney CBD venue, right in the heart of the harbour city!

Bank Heist has a difficulty rating of 7 out of 10. Bring on the challenge! In Bank Heist, the clues are generally easy to find, but solving them can be a challenging, while still offering plenty of fun and excitement. Recommended for players who've experienced an escape room before, but still great for beginner-level escapers up for a bit more of a challenge. Learn more about our difficulty levels here.

Absolutely! Our all-new Bank Heist escape room is very popular with children who love the immersive feel within the room. Whilst it is one our most popular rooms for children, adults love it too. So, it's a great choice for a family outing.

A few rules though:

1. The minimum player age is 9 years old. 
2. If the group contains any children under the age of 14 then an adult must remain onsite for the duration of the booking (but does not need to accompany the group into the room).
3. If the whole group is 14 and older no adult needs to remain on site.
4. If you have a child too young to participate we can sometimes arrange for them to accompany the group as a spectator into the room.

Where Escape This Sydney CBD opens later this year, the simplest way will be to check availability and book online. Our website shows live availability and all bookings are confirmed immediately. It's the quickest and best way to secure your desired time slot.

At Escape This, all bookings are exclusive to your group. This has always been (and will remain to be) our policy before, during and after Covid.

If you want to be locked in a room with a group of people you have never met before (some people do!) then we recommend you try another escape room experience provider.

You certainly can if you'd like to! Lots of our groups come as bank robbers to play our Bank Heist escape room.

It certainly isn't required that you dress up, but if you do, please remember to wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in and enclosed footwear is best!

You'll have one hour from entering the Bank Vault before the sirens mark the arrival of the police and security forces. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if you allow for 15 minutes afterwards, to catch your breath and debrief, your whole experience will last up to 90 minutes. You may be one of the lucky ones to escape our all-new Bank Heist escape room earlier, in which case your time with us may be shorter.

The maximum group size that Bank Heist escape room can accommodate is 8 people. Which makes it one of our smaller capacity rooms.

Our group limits are set to optimise gameplay and ensure a truly immersive experience for all our guests. Fortunately, for you, it is company policy to never compromise on your gameplay experience, so these limits are NOT flexible!

If your group is larger than 8 players, we suggest that you book multiple rooms to start at the same time and split your group across the rooms. This ensures the very best experience for everyone in your group.

Absolutely, the new Bank Heist is a great choice for first time escapers. You will be challenged but our gamemasters are on hand to offer any extra clues if you need them.

Spoken cues and clues are a key element of our escape rooms. Presently, these cues are only available in English, though we are working towards multi-language options. To ensure the best escape experience in the meantime, we recommend that the majority of your player group should be fluent in English.

Yes! Our new Bank Heist is a wheelchair accessible escape room, and a popular one at that with our wheelchair and limited mobility patrons. Please note a limited number of puzzles may be more challenging or difficult to access from a wheelchair, but as escape rooms are a team game requiring a mix of skills and abilities from team members, this should not affect your enjoyment of our rooms. Bank Heist is equipped to accommodate no more than one wheelchair per session.

Like all escape rooms, Bank Heist is a controlled lighting environment. It may feature periods of complete darkness and/or flashing lights. Similarly, you might experience confined spaces and/or jump scares during your escape. If you have any concerns or questions, please raise these with our Gamesmasters at check-in.
