In this heart-pumping gameplay mode, you'll be playing simultaneously across two identical briefcases, racing your friends or family, while trying to beat the same countdown clock. Head-to-Head Mode turns up the heat with intense, high-pressure gameplay. Each team faces the same intricate series of puzzles, but you're divided: you can hear the other team's discussions and strategies, making every moment a battle of wits and stealth communication!     At Escape This, all bookings are exclusive to your group. This has always been (and will remain to be) our policy before, during and after Covid.


    If you want to be locked in a room with a group of people you have never met before (some people do!) then we recommend you try another escape room experience provider.

  • 🎭 Can we come dressed up?

    You certainly can! The President's Briefcase is set in a world of intrigue, espionage and military uniform. Black suits, dark glasses and earpieces are all the norm here!

  • ⏳ How long will The President's Briefcase Escape Room experience last?

    You'll have 30 minutes from commencement of The President's Briefcase countdown until nuclear detonation. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if you allow for 15 minutes afterwards, to catch your breath and debrief, your whole experience will last up to 60 minutes. You may be one of the lucky ones to escape earlier, in which case your time with us may be shorter.

  • ❓ How many people can play The President's Briefcase at the same time?

    The maximum group size that The President's Briefcase escape room can accomodate is 8 people, across two simultaneous briefcases playing head-to-head. Each Briefcase can accommodate a maximum of 4 players.


    Our group limits are set to optimise gameplay and ensure a truly immersive experience for all our guests. Fortunately, for you, it is company policy to never compromise on your gameplay experience so these limits are NOT flexible! 


    If your group is larger than 8 players we suggest that you book multiple rooms to start at the same time and split your group across the rooms. Thus ensuring the very best experience for everyone in your group.

  • 🗣️ What if I don’t speak English fluently?

    Spoken cues and clues are a key element of our escape rooms. Presently, these cues are only available in English, though we are working towards multi-language options. To ensure the best escape experience in the meantime, we recommend that the majority of your player group should be fluent in English.

  • 👍 Is The President's Briefcase a good choice for my first escape room?

    Absolutely, The President's Briefcase is a great choice for first time escapers. We can tailor the diffulty level of the challenege to suit your level of experience.

  • 🦺 Are there any health & safety precautions we should know about?

    Like all escape rooms, The President's Briefcase is a controlled lighting environment. It may feature periods of complete darkness and/or flashing lights. Similarly, you might experience confined spaces and/or jump scares during your escape. If you have any concerns or questions, please raise these with our Gamesmasters at check-in.
