is now even more packed to the brim with terrifying, thrilling, and gory escape rooms. Though we must say, Buried Alive tops the charts!
At Escape This, we aim to create fully immersive escape room challenges unlike anything else anywhere in Perth (or Australia oftentimes), which is why we're home to the hardest escape room in Australia, 'Dracula,' with a 1% escape rate, and also the most terrifying room, 'The Haunting', which promises to have even the bravest escapers jumping in fright. Now, Buried Alive, built for just two escapers at a time, pushes players to their emotional, physical and mental limits - all while locked in a coffin!
Want to take on the challenge of being buried alive? This scenery deprivation experience will challenge players like never before. You'll have to be physically and mental prepared for this escape room! Bernie Janes, co-owner of Escape This, said:
"We all need to take the escape room to the next level, which obviously involves blinding folding, handcuffing and locking people in a box!"
Escape rooms are known to test a player's problem solving skills and communication abilities, bu Buried Alive takes this to a whole other level. Players are left to find solo clues, and communicate what they find with their teammate to solve partner challenges... but from separate coffins! They have to work their brains and test their skills alone, without influence.
Oh, and did we mention you're deprived of all senses except touch?!
Yes that's right! This escape room strips everything from players except for touch. Janes says; "its time to take control of scenes", and have the MOST immersive experience for the most extreme game! Guests are blind folded entering the room, and once in the coffin are blind in darkness. Sight, sound, taste and scent won't help you here. You'll need to rely on touch and what you find in your coffin to piece together the puzzle.
Buried Alive is a one-of-a-kind escape, and is only for the brave hearted! You'll want to bring your best team-mate and be ready for the hardest hour of your life - because you'll literally be fighting for it.
BUT, should being buried alive prove too much for you, we have fitted your coffin with a safety button which ends your escape then and there... in cowardice!
